A Mod Bragging Rights Championship includes ten tracks

Kosiski Auto Parts, Friesen Chevrolet, Malvern Trust & Savings Bank and Hoosier Great Plains working with ten Heartland area race tracks have put together an impressive Bragging Rights A Mod point fund for the 2015 racing season.

Those ten tracks include six in Nebraska tracks which are the Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Eagle Raceway in Eagle, US 30 Speedway in Columbus, the Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, the Junction Motor Speedway at McCool Junction and the I-80 Speedway near Greenwood.

In addition, two Iowa and two South Dakota tracks are in the A Mod Bragging Rights Championship. They are the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa, the Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa, the Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota and Raceway Park in Jefferson, South Dakota.

Kosiski Auto Parts and Malvern Trust & Savings Bank each put in $1,000 to the point fund, Friesen Chevrolet adding an engine certificate good for $1,000 off the cost of a GM Crate Engine and Hoosier Tire putting up 10 free WRS-55s. Each race track (except US 30 with only 7 A Mod races ($700)) will put $1,200 into the fund for a total of $13,500 in cash plus the $1,000 engine certificate and the 10 tires.

The point fund will pay the top ten cars in points as follows: (1) $2,500 plus the $1,000 engine certificate (2) $1,700 (3) $1,500 (4) $1,400 (5) $1,300 (6) $1,200 (7) $1,100 (8) $1,000 (9) $900 (10) $900. All ten will receive one free WRS-55 from Hoosier Great Plains.

For a driver to be eligible they must compete in a minimum of 5 races at each of 2 different participating tracks.

20 finishes are calculated in the driver’s point standings (the points from the 5 races at the 2 participating tracks must be calculated in the 20 total finishes.) the remaining 10 finishes calculated in the drivers points will be their next best 10 finishes at any participating track including the 2 they have already participated at. A driver can go to any track as many times as thew ould like to better their scores. All events count; weekly, specials, etc.

Points for the Bragging Rights Championship will be awarded for each feature event as follows; (100, 96, 94, 92, 90, 88, 86, 84, 82, etc.). Non qualifiers will receive 40 points.
