This Sunday, September 6 is All Star Sunday at I-80 Speedway. It’s Championship night as Champions will be crowned in all six classes of the NASCAR Whelen All American Series. In addition, the Nebraska 360 Sprints will be on hand for the Bob Parker Memorial.

Extra money has been added to all classes with the Super Late Models paying $1,000 to win and $150 to start, the A Mods $600 to win and $100 to start, B Mods and Grand Nationals paying $400 to win and $60 to start and Compacts $100 to win and $25 to start.

The race procedure will be similar to last year with the top eight in points (that are in attendance) running a heat race with the point leader drawing four, six or eight for the inversion. The finish of this heat race will determine the heads up start for the first four rows of the feature. All others cars in each class will run in one or two addition heat races.

Stock Cars will be running double features (each paying $300 to win and $40 to start) with the race procedure for the first feature the same as above. For the second feature we will invert half the field. (Example 14 cars we will invert the top seven, 15 cars we will invert the top eight, etc.) If we have more than 20 cars we will invert the top ten and then run a B feature qualifying the top ten into the second A feature.

Extra money has also been added to the Bob Parker Memorial with the winner receiving $2,500. second $1,500 third $1,000 etc and the race pays a Whopping $500 just to start. Sprint Car Pill Draw is $10 on line at I-80 Speedway’s website and $40 day of the race.

Pit gates open at 3:00 pm with Grandstands opening at 4:30 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 5:00 pm with racing at 6:00 pm. Pit Passes will be $20 for NASCAR members and $30 for Non-NASCAR members. Grandstand Admission is $15 for Adults, $5 for Juniors (6-12) with 5 and under free as always.
