Little Cars to run for a big payday at I-80 Speedway

On Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, I-80 Speedway will be hosting the Fearless 410 Finale, the final race of the inaugural National Sprint League season. Just added to that program is a two-day Mod Lite event which will pay $2,000 to win. That portion of the Fearless Finale will be called the Fearless Half Dollar Nationals. The Mod Lites are no strangers to I-80 Speedway having raced at the Nebraska track several times in the past including in 2004 when they signed in 45 cars.

The two-day event will kick off on October 2 with double qualifying heats with passing points (the same format that is used by the Super Late Models at the Silver Dollar Nationals). Then on Saturday night they will run consolation events (if required) and a 33 car A feature that will start three wide.

The 33 car finale will pay $2,000 to win, $1,000 for second, $600 for third, $400 for fourth, $200 for fifth with the rest of the field getting $125 to start. There maybe extra monies added to the purse going forward. There will be a $50 entry fee.

2015 STARS rules will be used for the event. Those rules can be found on the STARS website at:
