Silver Dollar Nationals IV: It just gets bigger

A year ago, when we made our announcement about Silver Dollar National III, we said that the first two years were a rousing success and we hoped SDN III would be even better. Well if you were there or you have seen the video on Dirt on Dirt then you know it was a barnburner. Ryan Gustin charging from his 34th starting position to take the lead only to tangle with a lapped car a few laps later. Jimmy Owens prevailed and took home the $27,000 first prize .It was rated the #2 race of the year by Dirt on Dirt.

Well excitement is building for Silver Dollar National IV! Mark you calendars for July 17, 18 & 19. $30,000 to win!! $1,400 to start! The United States Modified Series will be back with complete programs both nights. The SLMR Touring Series, the Nebraska 360 Sprints and B Mods will kick things off on Thursday with open practice for Super Late Models and the USMTS .

So everybody is already wondering, who will join Don O’Neal, Brian Birkhofer and Jimmy Owens as winners of the Silver Dollar Nationals? The format will be the same. No time trials! Double Qualifying Heat Races! Last Chance Races! The Belt Bash for Non Qualifiers!

Once again the SDN’s will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Midwest Late Model Racing Association. The race is one of the Crown Jewel Events on the Lucas Oil schedule.
