The Chase to the Silver Dollar Nationals

I-80 Speedway has established the Chase to the Silver Dollar Nationals for 2015. Points will be awarded for both nights of the Spring Meltdown (April 3 & 4) as well as the Alphabet Soup Race on June 26. Each winner of these three races is automatically qualified into the chase. If a driver repeats as a winner, then the runner-up to that driver in his second win qualifies. The top four in Chase points (not including the winners) also qualify for the Chase. The top two in each series (CBC, MLRA, SLMR and I-80 SLM) points (not including any of the above) are also qualified. Finally, the winner of the July 16 SLMR race qualifies.

Feature race points for all three races will be awarded as follows: (second) 100 (third) 96 (fourth) 94 and then a drop of two points per position for the rest of the A feature. First place will receive no points as they are automatically qualified for the Chase. All other cars will receive 40 points.

To set the field for the Chase, the four winners will draw for the first two rows, the four cars from Chase points will draw for third and fourth row starting positions, the top drivers in series points (CBC, MLRA, SLMR, I-80) will draw for rows five and six and the those cars second in points will draw for rows seven and eight.
