Friday, August 4 is Veterans Night and Kid’s Box Car races at I-80
On Friday, August 4, I-80 Speedway honors our Veterans with free tickets to the races. Six NASCAR Classes will be in action including Cubby’s Super Late Models, Custom Diesel Driver’s Training A Mods, Ty’s Outdoor Power & Service B Mods, Kosiski Auto Parts Bragging Rights Late Models, Rotella’s Stock Cars and River City Heating & Cooling Compacts.
The Kid’s Club will be having special Kid’s Box Car races with trophies for design & race winners. Racing starts at 7:15pm. With just three NASCAR weekly races left (August 4 & 18 with Championship night, September 3) the I-80 points leaders are; Tad Pospisil in Cubby’s Super Late Models, Travis Hatcher in Custom Diesel Driver’s Training A Mods, Shawn Harker in Ty’s Outdoor Power & Service B Mods, Jacob Brown in Kosiski Auto Parts Bragging Rights Late Models, Nick Woodard in Rotella’s Stock Cars, Luke Ramsey in Certified Transmission Hobby Stocks and Dan Markham in River City Heating & Cooling Compacts.
