Speedway Motors Cornhusker Classic Postponed

The Speedway Motors Cornhusker Classic has been postponed one week. The race will now be next week on the 18th, 19th and 20th. Purse, event format, and start times will be the same. Event pre-registration will be opened back up and be open through Sunday night, October 14th at 11 PM. Modifieds will run for $6,000 to-win and $500 to-start. Stock cars and sport mods will run for $1,200 to-win and $200 to-start. Bragging rights late models will run for $600 to-win on Friday and $800 to-win on Saturday. Hobby stocks will race for $300 to-win on Friday and $600 on Saturday. Compacts will run for $200 Friday and $500 to-win on Saturday. Modifieds, stock cars, and sport mods will run dual qualifying heat races on Friday night and the features on Saturday while the BRLM, compacts, and hobby stocks will run full shows both nights. The dual qualifying heat races will pay $100 for 1st, $60 for 2nd, and $40 for 3rd. Modifieds, sport mods, and stock cars will start their feature on Saturday night 3-wide. There will also be a non-qualifiers race for the modifieds ($600 to-win), sport mods and stock cars ($250 to-win).
